Hi,
I am trying to run Numerical Simulation of Battery Cooling system using OpenFOAM-V11. There are 3 cases for this simulation. Case 1 was creating the mesh and in Case 2 we will be applying the thermo physical properties. I was able to generate the mesh and I am facing some problem while running case-2. I am facing this error while running the chtMultiRegionFoam solver --> FOAM FATAL ERROR: Negative initial temperature T0: -1.44502 From function static Foam::scalar Foam::species::thermo<Thermo, Type>::T(const ThermoType&, Foam::scalar, Foam::scalar, Foam::scalar, FType, dFdTType, LimitType, bool) [with ThermoType = Foam::species::thermo<Foam::eConstThermo<Foam::rho Const<Foam::specie> >, Foam::sensibleInternalEnergy>; FType = double (Foam::eConstThermo<Foam::rhoConst<Foam::specie> >::*)(double, double) const; dFdTType = double (Foam::eConstThermo<Foam::rhoConst<Foam::specie> >::*)(double, double) const; LimitType = double (Foam::eConstThermo<Foam::rhoConst<Foam::specie> >::*)(double) const; Thermo = Foam::eConstThermo<Foam::rhoConst<Foam::specie> >; Type = Foam::sensibleInternalEnergy; Foam::scalar = double] in file /home/user/OpenFOAM-11/src/thermophysicalModels/specie/lnInclude/thermoI.H at line 300. I have attached my whole sample here: case2-proper.zip Would be helpful If someone let me know where I am going wrong! Hi!
Did any of you manage to solve the problem? I'm facing the same problem. |

It is mainly due to mesh issues. In my case refining mesh worked out.
