Hello to everybody, I'm pretty new to openFoam and I show my problem.
I'm performing a LES simulation of a multiphase flow (rectangular domain with half of water and half of air), all the boundary conditions on the sides are "cyclic" while on the top I have a "slip" condition and on the bottom I have a "noSlip" condition. I've would like to implement a double ramp velocity profile (one ramp for the water and a steeper one for the air) in order to initialize my velocity field [similar to the image but without the perturbation on the interface]. I've seen the pitzDailyExptInlet tutorial but it doesn't fit for me. I've created a new Boundary condition with the openfoam utility "foamNewBC" but it creates a time varying ramp velocity profile. Any idea on how to solve it? Thank you. |
