Hello!

Is it possible to use Cylindrical coordinate system in case of OpenFoam 10? And how is it possible to extract the axial, radial and tangential velocities?

I tried to use the cartesianToCylindrical function object to convert the velocity field U into cylindrical coordinates, but I am not sure if the results are ok. Also, the components of the cylindrical(U) are cylindrical(U)x, cylindrical(U)y and cylindrical(U)z, but not axial and radial components.
I also tried to use fieldCoordinateSystemTransform for velocity field conversion into cylindrical coordinates and again I am not sure how reliable the results are.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thank you in advance!
