MRF Rotating Wheel Case - can't remember how I did it

About a year and a half ago, I ran a rotating wheel case using MRF. Now I am revisiting it, and I am at a loss as to how I did it. What I am looking for is the sequence of commands that correspond to the case structure.
Attached is an image of the geometry, and also the tree images of the case structure. I approximated wheel "squish" by siting the wheel in a slab with a a divot in it. My usual practice is to document the methods I used in building the case, but somehow I dropped the ball on this one. For example, what command caused the polyMesh folders for wheel and solid to be created in the constant folder? Or, maybe someone can give me a link to a tutorial that shows how to simulate a rotating wheel with MRF zones? Thanks in advance if anything transpires! |

The rotatingCylinders tutorial ($FOAM_TUTORIALS/incompressible/simpleFoam/rotatingCylinders) may be useful:
https://www.openfoam.com/documentati...inders-2d.html All the best |
