Hello everybody!
I want to make a simulation of an arm movement under water. I decided to go with overset mesh tool. I can represent some parts of an arm with simple rectangles, but the problem is how to connect these blocks between each other to not have the flow between the blocks. The problem is that i can't find how make blocks flexible (bend them in connection parts - where bones are connected to each other) What i tried: 1) I found this paper (http://www.tfd.chalmers.se/~hani/kur...formReport.pdf) but can't make it work in more modern versions of OpenFOAM. When i make library it exist, but i can't see it in the list. Although, when i type in "vi myLib.so" i can access it. Anyways, it still doesn't really work. Moreover, it is a bit problematic to make it work also with overset mesh. 2) I was thinking about using option "surfaceDisplacement" in pointDisplacement dictionary - by adjusting the speed of projecting to a certain .stl file, but it doesn't really work with overset patches. So my question is how can i make a hand movement? Any suggestion will be welcome. I want to make something like this eventually - https://www.researchgate.net/publica...style_Swimming Thanks to everyone! |
