Hello all,
I am running a molecular dynamics simulation in OpenFOAM-5.x. To give you a picture, I am colliding some spherical balls in a box and when the spheres collide, one of them is randomly placed in some other location. While it works seamlessly in serial, I want to run it in parallel and after the collision, I want to delete the particle from that position and create a new one in a randomly chosen processor. For that, I want to know how to get the details of processor mesh, i.e. how do I know the coordinates of mesh in the chosen processor? For serial, that command is: mesh_.bounds().min()[0] and mesh_.bounds().max()[0] in which this command gives the boundaries of whole mesh in x direction. |
