Hi all, in my freetime i am currently exploring OF and was previously working a lot with STARCCM in the car industry. I was working in Formulastudent years ago and using geometry and rescources from my old team.
I have a case which is showing divergence in the omega. I am not so common with OF and asking here for analysis help. Can I make better settings for better stability and convergence? In my case its not even running. Maybe someone can check and try to run it on his own. Its a steady case with komega SST and Mesh was done with SnappyHexMesh. The same mesh was imported to STARCCM aswell and was running there pretty ok, so I can tell that the mesh quality is statisfying and no bigger mistakes are in there. I am guessing its about solver settings where i have lack of robustness. The actual status of my settings is provided. Having any tipps (beside mesh quality ) which you experienced to make OF calculations more successful here? I can sent you the full case via wetransfer.com if you are giving me your Email. Otherwise the data is to big.. Last edited by matzeee; November 4, 2022 at 02:28. Reason: adding more files |
