hi all,
i am running a simulation with icoUncoupledKinematicParcelFoam in OF 7. unfortunately, the calculation does not proceed when the lagrange particles enter bad cells. the calculation enters an infinite loop and no further information on the terminal is shown. the mesh works well for euler-euler multiphase solver and also single phase solver. i combined different meshes with the "stitchMesh"-command, so at the interface of those cells i think polyhedral/tetrahedral cells are created, which are of bad quality, or bad enough that lagrangian particle tracking fails. any suggestion to solve this issue is appreciated. cheers |

moved to OF 10, at least the calculation proceeds.
maybe it was a bug of some sort. |
