Dear Foamers,
I'm trying to use OF9 for my simulations on multiphase flows using interFoam solver by considering dynamic mesh refinement. Earlier, I used OF8 for the same simulation by letting the setup as it is with the same grid size & same refinement level. But, OF9 visual results are quite disappointing. The contour plots of the field in OF9 is showing some unexpected spikes on the surfaces. Whereas OF8 results are fairly smooth. I'm attaching the images captured at the same time instance(i.e., 0.0008s) of both versions' results with an iso-surface value of 0.1 and the case zip file. I request your help to solve this issue. Thanks in advance. |
