Hello, I am new to OpenFOAM and I am trying to create a 3D pressure tank discharge simulation in OpenFOAM. The tank has a dimension of dia =10.16 cm, height =1m pressurised to 150 psi at 20 c. A small orifice is at the upper face of the tank of 1 mm radius which is further connected in a 1*1*1 m^3 fluid domain which is initially at 1 atm and 20c. I want to see how long it takes for the tank to empty until pressure of all the region comes to equilibrium. I tried creating the geometry in gmsh and meshed it using gmsh then I took shocktube tutorial of OpenFOAM and I just changed the geometry, meshing and patching parameters for my requirement and other settings as well to suit the simulation. But it looks like it is not working. Please help...
Please have a look on my simulation folder... https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...Vx?usp=sharing |
