Dear FOAMers,
I installed pyFoam (and swak4Foam) successfully (hopefully) and using/testing them for the first time. I run hotRoom tutorial using pyFoamPlotRunner.py an it run as expected without an error. (residuals were plotted and time directories were written) My question is: After I type "pyFoam" and press tab, auto complete options are shown, however when I type "pyFoamPlotRunner.py --" and press tab, options (--clear --progress etc.) are not auto completed. Is it expected or does it mean I did sth wrong with the installation or setting the environment variables? Any help is appreciated Cheers Umut Note: I installed python3.8, pip, and run the below command: sudo update-alternatives --install /usr/bin/python python /usr/bin/python3 10 When I type "which python pip" the results are as follows /usr/bin/python /home/owner/.local/bin/pip (I added /home/owner/.local/bin to PATH in .bashrc before using pyFoam) I'm using OF-v2206 on Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS (windows11 wsl) |
