Note: I am sorely new to Linux subsystem and openFOAM, so please excuse the incorrect terms I used.
My simulation is based on the $FOAM/tutorials/multiphase/interFoam/RAS/weirOverflow/ I am trying to simulate open channel flow passing through a vertical cylinder. You can download my file from this link >> LINK I run using the commands: Code:
blockMesh checkMesh //redefine defaultFaces in "polyMesh/boundary" file to "empty". setFields interFoam I have tried reducing the time taken (time step? in controlDict), as well as reducing the inletFlowRate. Yet, it still resulted the same. I have an inkling that I need to add several more boxes to my setFields, as my blockMeshDict have extra zones (refer to image attached) when compared to the one in the tutorial. But I have no idea on what coordinates to put so that it can flow properly. |
