Hi Foamers,

i am trying to use sonicFoam to solve a supersonic compressible turbulent (with k-omega-SST) problem. But I found several contradictory discriptions about sonicFoam.

On the user guide[1], it says:
Transient solver for trans-sonic/supersonic, turbulent flow of a compressible
gas.

On the openFoam wiki[2], it says:
Transient solver for trans-sonic/supersonic, laminar flow of a compressible gas.

In the tutorials, i do find sonicFoam with RAS. See the first picture.

So is sonicFoam actually able to solve turbulent problems?

Regards
