Default Not getting Parabolic Velocity Profile just after inlet

Hey all,
I'm using simpleFoam to solve a laminar flow problem in a pipe.
The velocity profile I get near the inlet isn't parabolic, and I'm not sure why.
I've attached an image below.



The velocity profile at the inlet boundary is a flat curve of the value specified in U.
Then for a small distance it's this odd valley shape, and after that for the rest of the pipe it's parabolic.
