Hello everybody!
Currently, I'm working on the Wedge entry problem. the wedge is entering the water vertically down with a specified constant speed, when the water is at rest. I'm using OpenFOAM v2106, using dynamicOversetFvMesh and the multiSolidBodyMotionSolver with linearMotion function as I've attached below. Most of the settings I used are taken from the overInterDyMFoam tutorials. I've attached the following files: dynamicMeshDict controlDict fvSchemes fvSolution Unfortunately, I noticed I have a spurious free surface elevator, and the water interface along the wedge doesn't look very good, see the attached pictures. Can anybody give me any advice on where is the problem or which scheme I should use? Any description would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance for your comments! regards, Basar Huzni |
