Hello all,
I'm updating some old solvers up to OpenFoam-9, and an running into an issue with writing out timestep directories. If I use writeControl of timeSteps, cpuTime, clockTime, everything works as expected. However, I want to write at a specific crank angle, so in the past I've used adjustableRunTime and set the adjustTimeStep to yes and this has worked out fine. When running engineFoam/XiEngineFoam in OpenFOAM-9, this no longer outputs any timestep. I suspect this has to do with conversion from simulation time to crank angle. Has anyone else experienced this? The tutorial kivaTest with XiFoam uses runTime and a non adjustable time step. |

After some digging, I see that there was a fix pushed 5 months ago (I am using the downloadable source pack). The beginTime_ hadn't been set properly.
