Hi everyone! I am new to cfd-online, but I've always read CFD stuff and you are great!
Does anybody know how to simulate a virtual wall on openfoam? I would like to simulate a burst disk, which after the rupture connects two environment at different pressure. I used codeStream to simulate different initial condition for the internal flow. My idea was that with those initial condition, the start of the transient simulates the rupture of the disk, is it appropriate? I run the simulation with cavitatingFoam since as first attempt I was trying to use an HEM model to simulate the flashing, the results shows that the pressure increase only in the region where the system was initialized at lower pressure whilst remaing constant at high pressure where the region was iniitialized at high pressure. Can anybody help? I've already post this question in the pre-processing forum but I did not receive any answer. Thank you. Best regards, Vittorio |
