limpideyes is on a distinguished road
Hello,

I'd like to run windAroundBuildings with simpleFoam. When I saw the Allrun script, it was like:
Code:
runApplication surfaceFeatures

runApplication blockMesh
runApplication snappyHexMesh -overwrite

runApplication $(getApplication)
But I want to do parallel running of both snappyHexMesh and simpelFoam for the above windAroundBuilidng. So, I've referred to the Allrun script of motorBike and it was like:
Code:
runApplication surfaceFeatures

runApplication blockMesh

runApplication decomposePar -copyZero
runParallel snappyHexMesh -overwrite

runParallel patchSummary
runParallel potentialFoam
runParallel $(getApplication)

runApplication reconstructParMesh -constant
runApplication reconstructPar -latestTime
Then, I have got a question. Do I really need 'patchSummary' and 'potentialFoam' for the windAroundBuilidng?
Otherwise, can I delete them and do this as follows?
Code:
surfaceFeatures
blockMesh
decomposePar -copyZero
mpirun -np 8 snappyHexMesh -overwrite -parallel
mpirun -np 8 simpleFoam -parallel
reconstructParMesh -constant
reconstructPar -latestTime
What do you think of? Can I do the mpirun without the 'patchSummary' and 'potentialFoam' for the windAroundBuilidng?

Please help,

Thanks!
