Mechie is on a distinguished road
Hello, I am modeling a hydraulic structure where calculating water diversion is important, when I add Inletflux functions I get the following error:

surfaceFieldValue inletFlux write:
--> FOAM Warning :
From function virtual bool Foam::functionObjects::fieldValues::surfaceFieldVa lue::write()
in file fieldValues/surfaceFieldValue/surfaceFieldValue.C at line 809
Requested field rhoPhi not found in database and not processed

In the OpenFOAM 9 issues page it is listed as resolved by:

Resolved in OpenFOAM-9 by commit 1b6d2212992cd67409b49bebad8961a9bb120994

Silly question: but how do I upgrade my current OF9 version to fix the bug.
? I have Ubuntu 20.04.

I also found a patch, how can I add the patch to my current OF code?

Thanks.
