I was trying to reproduce a multiphaseEulerFoam tutorial case that happened in 2D into 3D. The original case is located at
Code:
$FOAM_TUTORIALS/multiphase/multiphaseEulerFoam/RAS/bubblePipe then i modify the case blockMeshDict so the case geometry would be 3D. but when i tried to run the simulation, the air bubble would not move or just concentrated in specify region, represented in this picture below. meanwhile i was expecting an output like this one from bubbleColumn tutorial that located at Code:
$FOAM_TUTORIALS/multiphase/multiphaseEulerFoam/RAS/bubbleColumn and by the way this is my case in there is something wrong with my setup bubble0702.zip What should i revise/change from my case so it simulate the case like the second picture but with three phases?(first is water, second is air1, and third is air3) my goal is to simulate advection of the phase air1 and air2 so it can move in the continuous phase(water). Thanks in advance |
