Hi,
I am trying to run an overset simulation in OF. I created the meshes for the foreground body and background. The problem appears when I try to run mergeMeshes. As instructed in the wolf dynamics tutorial, it is preferred that in the "constant/polyMesh/boundary", the overset patch is at the top. However, after following the instructions, I got the error: Patch 0 named XXX already exists, but patch types do not match. Does anyone have this experience? I remember I do not have this problem last time. So I'm not sure what has changed. |

Hi hbulus, thanks for the suggestions. In the end, I took a working case from wolf dynamics and modify it from there, and it worked. Not sure what went wrong earlier...
