Dear foamers
I have question about dynamic Immersed boundary. The available tutorials of Immersed boundary of foam-extend 4.0 have closed profile such as cylinder, etc. So if I want to model oscillating plate in fluid flow, I need to define the plate in triSurface folder. I want to know, this method can use for a oscillating plate with one fixed end and the other end free? As the solid region read from triSurface folder, is it possible to define two boundaries and fix one end and assign oscillating to the other parts of boundaries in dynamicMeshDict? Thanks Hojatollah |

I check it, and it is possible to use open profile.
