Dear forum,
I have a problem with mesh quality at the interface between a MRF zone and freestream. It seems like a lot of non-orthogonal cells are present at the interface, but I am not sure why they are there. Does anyone know extra information about improving the interface between the MRF zone and freestream? The MRF zones are made use MRFproperties and snappyhexMesh: rotatingzonefr { level (6 6); faceZone rotatingzonefr; cellZone rotatingzonefr; cellZoneInside inside; //faceType boundary; } If I change the faceType to baffle, the mesh quality is much better, but then I will require to use boundary conditions between the rotating zone and freestream. Maybe someone has experience with something similar? Many thanks. |
