hi all,
i am running a simulation with the reactingMultiphaseEulerFoam solver on OF version 7. i have one continuous phase and multiple dispersed phases in one system. i don't know why but for the largest droplet phase the velocity rises to really high values, the strange thing is that the volume fraction for that phase is zero right there. the stranger thing is that the CO number right there rises quickly, too. now, the question is: how does the Co-value increase when there is no dispersed phase with the high veloctiy? |

i examined the code and found out that Co for multiphase cases is calculated for each phase independently and also for the total flux. so the max value is then taken as Co_max in the end, which means it doesnt matter if there is one particular phase or not.
