Dear Foamers,
I am trying to run a case with a rotor/stator configuration using either AMI or MRF, and tracking particles as well, using MPPICFoam and openfoam-8, but I run into an error that says MPPICFoam does not support moving meshes; however, the description in the user guide says it does. Does anyone know if openfoam-9 has solved this problem? Regards, Cris. |

I cannot find an indication that OF9 includes dynamic mesh capabilities. See the code of the main file: https://github.com/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM...ParticleFoam.C
The ESI version (www.openfoam.com) does include the dynamic mesh capabilities for MPPIC. See the MPPICDyMFoam solver at https://www.openfoam.com/documentati...061951fa3.html |
