Hi, I tried to use constant pressure boundary conditions for the inlet and the solver is interFoam. zeroGradient was used for velocity. However, I got alpha >100 which is definitely unrealistic. I check all the interFoam tutorials delivered with OF, however, I didn't find any with a pressure inlet. I hope anyone could give me some idea on this problem. Many thanks.

Hi, generally you can apply a pressure difference between inlet and outlet and use zerograident boundary condition for the velocity. Then the velocity itself will be driven by the pressure gradient and develop over the domain. You may need reconsider your outlet boundary condition or give more details on your case.

Hope this can help.
