Gas injection in the middle of a domain

Hello,
I am quite new to openfoam and I would like to simulate the following situation. I have a pipe, closed at one end filled with air at ambient pressure and temperature. Inside the pipe I have the solid region which is a heat source and where we want to monitor the temperature. From this region, there is gas at high pressure and temperature which is ejected and mixing with the air already present in the pipe. (I attached a picture to be clearer) I have already simulated the pipe with the solid region using chtMultiRegionFoam and now I want to add the gas injection. However, I don't know how to add this gas inlet inside the domain and I am not even sure that chtMultiRegionFoam is the appropriate solver to do this. If anyone could share its idea and propositions, I would be very glad to hear them ! Thank you very much ! |
