Hello Foamers,

I am trying to simulate a two-phase flow with compressibleInterFoam. One component has a laminar character, the other can be described as turbulent. The solver compressibleInterFoam has the option twoPhaseTransport to give each phase its own turbulence model. However, the tutorial compressibleInterFoam/laminar/climbingRod deals with two laminar transport models. By changing the turbulence of one phase to e.g. RAS (with all additions in the related files), the solver crashes. This problem was also published as a bug report https://develop.openfoam.com/Develop.../-/issues/1213. I reproduced the test case with different OpenFOAM versions (v2006, v2106) but the error still persists. Furthermore, the bug issue is archived and commentaries aren't possible anymore.
Has anyone managed to solve the twoPhaseTransport with separate turbulence models?

Best,
tkr

I am also interested to know how this might be solved.
