Hey guys,

i was just wondering: if I use ".*" for my boundaries and want to specify e.g. the inlet differently, does the order matter? If yes, which should come first?

The safest way is to try it with a small case.

But, I would expect that the order would have an effect. I would be surprised if the order would not have any effect.

I remember, the order was affecting the Lagrangian particle interaction models.

So, for your specific case, I would put ".*" first, and then "inlet" condition after that.

Check out this post, from a while back: Repeated keywords in the dictionary - useful info

The order DOES matter, as HPE says, but unfortunately it's not as simple as "the last instance counts" which was my initial gut feel.
