h7l is on a distinguished road
hello,
i need to evaluate the time step width and simulation duration of the simulation for an university execise. for this i would like to create a plot of the time step width over the course of the simulation and a 2d contour plot of the courant number.
after talking to my professor I was told that there is a command for both plots in the linux console, but after googleling and searching through the lecture slides I still havenīt found anything fitting. Does anyone have an idea how I could proceed?

Tobermory will become famous soon enough
Check out the following, for the Courant number:

The time step is in the run output - if you saved this to a log file, you can extract it fairly simply with a grep command.
