Hi!
I'm new to OpenFoam and I'm trying to simulate the mixing of two fluids in a cross junction of two pipes. I'm using twoLiquidMixingFoam, but I first set the velocity field using potentialFoam to avoid errors. I attached the files I use. I first have to run potentialFoam (setUField folder), then copy the U file in the 0 folder of the twoLiquidMixingFoam folder. However, when I launch the simulation with twoLiquidMixingFoam, the simulation always stops to early, before the mixing even begins to occur. I tried to change the tolerance, the time precision and the endTime, but none of this seems to change anything. I get really high velocities, pressures and epsilon values at certain points in the junction at the last time step that is executed. Maybe the problem comes from these values? In that case, what should I do to correct them? Thank you very much! Pierre-Olivier |
