Hi OpenFOAM users,
I am having trouble setting up an internal cyclic boundary condition. Suppose I have the following flow geometry, where the red internal faces are where I would like to set a cyclic boundary condition (and the arrow represents the flow direction). I use blockMesh to mesh the domain but cannot add the internal faces to boundary. I then tried to use topoSet and createPatch but again I get the error that the faces are not external faces of the mesh. I have likewise tried to use createBaffles but couldn't get an internal cyclic condition at a distance working. Could anybody please guide me with the workflow of such a problem i.e. how to setup internal cyclic boundary conditions, or whether this is even possible with openfoam. Thank you very much for your time, Tom Waits. Last edited by TomWaits; May 6, 2021 at 18:48. |
