Hi, I am trying to simulate the flow through a facemask (using openfoam v7) for my master's degree tesis. I want to use pimpleFoam solver and the porousBafflePressure BC in order to simulate the facemask as a porous membrane.
I am having problems with porousBafflePressure BC, as I have never worked with it. In order to set up my case, I have started with the only tutorial I have found using this boundary condition: damBreakPorousBaffle. The problem is that when i run this tutorial I am getting exactly the same solution as for the tutorial damBreak (without any porous membrane). It is like the membrane is not well implemented or it has no effect in the first tutorial i have mentioned. I would be really greatful if someone could help me or give some advice about this issue, and an already set up case using this BC would be also really helpful. In the case that someone knows another way to simulate a thin porous membrane using another Bc, i would be very interested in it. Thank you for your attention. I would be really greateful if someone could help me with this problem. Arnau |
