Hello all,
I am trying to model to 2D bubble relaxation and study the suppression of the spurious velocity with the new solver based on interFoam. However, I found that the velocity field is not correct (for the beginning of the simulation, the velocity looks fine, and the velocity field is weird gradually, i.e. the velocity tends to connect to the left corner), please see the attached pictures. The simulation domain is a cubic and have an initial cubic bubble in the middle of the domain, the BCs for alpha and p_rgh are zeroGradient and BCs for velocity is fixedValue (0 0 0), and I have specified the pRefCell and pRefValue for the pressure field. Any suggestions on this problem will be highly appreciated. Regards, Xiao |
