Can i replace a fan with constant velocity or pressure gradient?

I am working on a project of heat transfer. I have a heat source and fan blowing on it. can i simplify this problem and replace fan with a constant velocity inlet or Pressure gradient based on the flow coefficient or pressure coefficient?
if not then what should i do in openfoam? |
