Hello,
I am trying to simulate a flow over cylinder in 2d. I have created a mesh using gmsh. I am using k-epsilon model. When I try to run the solution using SimpleFoam, after 4 itr, it starts to generate stack trace and gives: Backtrace: ZN10StackTraceC1Ev [0x705c1465+0x25] module: C:\PROGRA~1\BLUECF~1\ThirdParty-5.x\platforms\mingw_w64GccDPInt32\lib\libstack_tra ce.dll ZN4Foam5error10printStackERNS_7OstreamE [0x1061c88+0x218] module: C:\PROGRA~1\BLUECF~1\OpenFOAM-5.x\platforms\mingw_w64GccDPInt32Opt\lib\libOpenFO AM.dll ZN4Foam6sigFpe13sigFpeHandlerEi [0x1062af3+0x33] module: C:\PROGRA~1\BLUECF~1\OpenFOAM-5.x\platforms\mingw_w64GccDPInt32Opt\lib\libOpenFO AM.dll (No symbol) [0x403cad] module: C:\PROGRA~1\BLUECF~1\OpenFOAM-5.x\platforms\mingw_w64GccDPInt32Opt\bin\simpleFoa m.exe _C_specific_handler [0x7ffdd4137ff8+0x98] module: C:\WINDOWS\System32\msvcrt.dll 0_chkstk [0x7ffdd5e1130f+0x11f] module: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll RtlRaiseException [0x7ffdd5dbb5e4+0x434] module: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll KiUserExceptionDispatcher [0x7ffdd5e0fe3e+0x2e] module: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll ZN4Foam22symGaussSeidelSmoother6smoothERKNS_4wordE RNS_5FieldIdEERKNS_9lduMatrixERKS5_RKNS_10FieldFie ldIS4_dEERKNS_8UPtrListIKNS_17lduInterfaceFieldEEE hi [0xf088fc+0x3ac] module: C:\PROGRA~1\BLUECF~1\OpenFOAM-5.x\platforms\mingw_w64GccDPInt32Opt\lib\libOpenFO AM.dll ZNK4Foam22symGaussSeidelSmoother6smoothERNS_5Field IdEERKS2_hi [0xf08d2f+0x3f] module: C:\PROGRA~1\BLUECF~1\OpenFOAM-5.x\platforms\mingw_w64GccDPInt32Opt\lib\libOpenFO AM.dll ZNK4Foam12smoothSolver5solveERNS_5FieldIdEERKS2_h [0xf035ea+0x2da] module: C:\PROGRA~1\BLUECF~1\OpenFOAM-5.x\platforms\mingw_w64GccDPInt32Opt\lib\libOpenFO AM.dll ZN4Foam8fvMatrixIdE15solveSegregatedERKNS_10dictio naryE [0x65ef1c17+0x127] module: C:\PROGRA~1\BLUECF~1\OpenFOAM-5.x\platforms\mingw_w64GccDPInt32Opt\lib\libfinite Volume.dll ZN4Foam8fvMatrixIdE5solveERKNS_10dictionaryE [0x70854f91+0x131] module: C:\PROGRA~1\BLUECF~1\OpenFOAM-5.x\platforms\mingw_w64GccDPInt32Opt\lib\libincomp ressibleTurbulenceModels.dll ZN4Foam8fvMatrixIdE5solveEv [0x70855235+0xa5] module: C:\PROGRA~1\BLUECF~1\OpenFOAM-5.x\platforms\mingw_w64GccDPInt32Opt\lib\libincomp ressibleTurbulenceModels.dll ZN4Foam5solveIdEENS_17SolverPerformanceIT_EERKNS_3 tmpINS_8fvMatrixIS2_EEEE [0x70845125+0x25] module: C:\PROGRA~1\BLUECF~1\OpenFOAM-5.x\platforms\mingw_w64GccDPInt32Opt\lib\libincomp ressibleTurbulenceModels.dll ZN4Foam9RASModels8kEpsilonINS_29IncompressibleTurb ulenceModelINS_14transportModelEEEE7correctEv [0x70881bd6+0x7d6] module: C:\PROGRA~1\BLUECF~1\OpenFOAM-5.x\platforms\mingw_w64GccDPInt32Opt\lib\libincomp ressibleTurbulenceModels.dll (No symbol) [0x44dd78] module: C:\PROGRA~1\BLUECF~1\OpenFOAM-5.x\platforms\mingw_w64GccDPInt32Opt\bin\simpleFoa m.exe (No symbol) [0x4013f7] module: C:\PROGRA~1\BLUECF~1\OpenFOAM-5.x\platforms\mingw_w64GccDPInt32Opt\bin\simpleFoa m.exe (No symbol) [0x40152b] module: C:\PROGRA~1\BLUECF~1\OpenFOAM-5.x\platforms\mingw_w64GccDPInt32Opt\bin\simpleFoa m.exe BaseThreadInitThunk [0x7ffdd3f27034+0x14] module: C:\WINDOWS\System32\KERNEL32.DLL RtlUserThreadStart [0x7ffdd5dbd0d1+0x21] module: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll You can find all the files of the setup through: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/722vfxnht...atiP_aSQa?dl=0 If anyone knows what is the error, please let me know. I have performed checkMesh as well and it gives following:
Create time Create polyMesh for time = 0 Time = 0 Mesh stats points: 18304 internal points: 0 faces: 126004 internal faces: 89396 cells: 53850 faces per cell: 4 boundary patches: 5 point zones: 0 face zones: 0 cell zones: 1 Overall number of cells of each type: hexahedra: 0 prisms: 0 wedges: 0 pyramids: 0 tet wedges: 0 tetrahedra: 53850 polyhedra: 0 Checking topology... Overall domain bounding box (0 0 0) (3 1.5 0.1) Mesh has 3 geometric (non-empty/wedge) directions (1 1 1) Mesh has 3 solution (non-empty) directions (1 1 1) Boundary openness (6.30807e-018 5.96858e-019 0) OK. Max cell openness = 1.4451e-016 OK. Max aspect ratio = 63.1629 OK. Minimum face area = 6.06564e-006. Maximum face area = 0.00304889. Face area magnitudes OK. Min volume = 2.02188e-007. Max volume = 3.48182e-005. Total volume = 0.44686. Cell volumes OK. Mesh non-orthogonality Max: 87.2178 average: 49.6913 *Number of severely non-orthogonal (> 70 degrees) faces: 25223. Non-orthogonality check OK. <<Writing 25223 non-orthogonal faces to set nonOrthoFaces Face pyramids OK. Max skewness = 0.37449 OK. Coupled point location match (average 0) OK. Mesh OK. End Currently its all tetrahedral meshes since I havnt put Recombine command in gmsh file. But even with that command, the mesh changes to all prism but it still generated stack trace. |
