Hello, everyone,
Recently, I ran simulations using interFoam(s) from OpenFOAM-v1812 and foam-extend-4.0. Surprisingly, the results of 2D drainage in a capillary tube are different. Although the locations of the invading fluid front are almost the same, the locations of the contact line between fluids and wall are different (as figures show). It seems that the contact line in the simulation using OpenFOAM-v1812 moved faster than that in foam-extend, so the saturation value is also slightly higher. Both figures are for the fluid distribution at t = 0.0011s. Is there anyone knowing why it can happen? The simulations files can be downloaded from here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...Ju?usp=sharing Thanks lot. |
