Hello to all,

I would like to know if it is possible to obtain a constant velocity gradient in the Cavity simulation in OpenFoam.

In OpenFoam the velocity gradient is given by:

\nabla u=\begin{pmatrix}
\partial u_{1}/\partial x_{1}  & \partial u_{2}/\partial x_{1} &\partial u_{3}/\partial x_{1} \\
\partial u_{1}/\partial x_{2} & \partial u_{2}/\partial x_{2} & \partial u_{3}/\partial x_{2}\\
 \partial u_{1}/\partial x_{3}&\partial u_{2}/\partial x_{3}  &\partial u_{3}/\partial x_{3}
  \end{pmatrix}

I would like to have throughout the simulation:

\nabla u=\begin{pmatrix}
0 & 1 & 0\\
0 & 0 & 0\\
 0& 0 & 0
 \end{pmatrix}

Is there any utility to do this?

Best Regards!
