Hi,

I want to compare under-floor heating and radiator heating regarding the heat transfer. Radiators work by heating the air surrounding them using convection. On the other hand, under floor heating pruduces radiant heat. My question is, Which solvers should i use for only convection issue(radiator heating) and for radiation case(underfloor heating)?

Thanks in advance,

By underfloor heating do you mean heater placed under laminated floor? If yes, I don't think radiation is an important there. You can use just simple temperature boundary condition. And in either case, simple "openfoam solvers" research can help you to find your answer.
