Hi Foamers
Is it possible to solve the mass transfer in k model instead of using empirical model (Sh,Re,Sc) on reactingTwoPhaseEulerFoam solver ?? I saw many articles claimed they used the mass transfer model on CFD but showed the equation in the k model form. PS. reactingTwoPhaseEulerFoam uses the Froessling's empirical model. Sh=2+0.552*Re^(0.5)*Se^(0.5) This thread also asked about the mass transfer forms but I didn't get the point. about mass transfer model in reactingTwoPhaseEulerFoam solver I prefer to use the modified Higbie's penetration model in k form on my simulation. Please share me an idea, also if you provide how to is preciated. Thanks Foamers |

I solved this problem by derived those KLa equations to empirical equations, then applied those equations to new solvers, compiled. Done
