Hi, I am totally new to CFD. Trying to start.
I've installed OF8. Copied DTCHull to my home workarea and run ./Allrun It is running already for couple of hours Output is still Running interFoam in parallel on /home/mark/OpenFOAM/mark-8/run/DTCHull using 8 processes How much time it needs to fully process DTCHull? thanks, Mark |

Hi, Mark! It depends by the performance of your computer and quality of mesh and time steps. It's maybe 8 hours or week. Running in parallel is useless if your computer has few cores. With best regards, Serge |

Hi Mark,
In addition to Serge's post, you can check the log.interFoam file to see how the simulation is going. Cheers, Yann |
