Velocity spike at reference pressure location in overPimpleDyMFoam model

All,
I'm running a simple, 2D overPimpleDyMFoam calculation with a closed domain, and there's a spike in the velocity field at the pressure reference location (see attached image showing Umag contour) that I haven't been able to suppress via changes to the solver/discretization settings. Has anyone seen/resolved such an issue in their work? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I've also attached an archive containing the case files for review if someone wants to take a closer look at the model. |

I am having the same issue. I found this while trying to do a 3D simulation in a closed domain with and then moved to a 2D domain (slice of my original 3D one) and the issue remains. The spike is at the pRef location and I can't figure out how to get rid of it...
