pitchAxis gets reversed sign when running on HPC cluster

Hi all,
First, thanks for the willingness of all people on this forum to share knowledge, it has helped me tremendously so far. Currently, I am having an issue that when I run my simulation on a HPC cluster, which has v2006 and thirdparty compiled, the pitchAxis changes sign. So, when running locally on my computer, everything works as intended and my pitchAxis stays as I defined pre-simulation in forceCoeffs pitchAxis(0,0,1). I checked this afterwards by looking at the postProcessing forceCoeffs.dat output which shows the same pitchAxis(0,0,1). Locally, I installed OpenFOAM on ubuntu using: sudo apt-get -y install openfoam8. On an HPC cluster, where I compiled OpenFOAM v2006 and the thirdparty directory, somewhere in the process the pitchAxis changes to (0,0,-1). When inspecting the postProcessing forceCoeffs.dat after solving it shows pitchAxis (0,0,-1), but in system/forceCoeffs it's still pitchAxis (0,0,1). Any idea what could be causing this? It is not the end of the world as I could just apply corrections when processing the data, but I still find it very strange. If any more information is needed to further understand the problem please let me know! |
