Hello everyone
I am trying to run the straightDuctImplicit case within the porousSimpleFoam solver. I run foamyHexMesh and it takes about 70s to finish, then when I type in porousSimpleFoam it gives a fatal error of not having a file "points" in a folder "polyMesh" within the "0" folder. As far as I know the 0 folder is only for constants so I don't understand why a polyMesh folder should be in there. I even tried the strange method of messing around with time. So after executing foamyHexMesh it creates folders at the various time steps 10 , 20, 30, ... and so on. So I tried taking the polyMesh folder from the "10" folder copying it into the "0" folder and then within the controlDict setting startTime to 10, and endTime to 110. However as expected that did not work either, it was a rather crude way of trying to get it to work. Attached is the image of the FOAM FATAL ERROR. Any guidance will be much appreciated. |
