Dear all,
I would like to get acquaintance with mixing planes in OpenFOAM so I installed foam-extend on my machine. First thing I did was trying to run a tutorial case and I chose the one in:
tutorials/incompressible/MRFSimpleFoam/axialTurbine_mixingPlane
The tutorial is set to run for 200 steps, but results look not reliable with a high time step continuity error on the last prescribed iteration.
Furthermore, letting the simulation run for further steps it crashes at 226th step. Has someone noticed the same behavior? Are there any reliable tutorials about the use of mixing planes with the last foam-extend release (4.1)??

Thanks in advance
