Hi Foamers
I have set up an overset case on v1912 using the aeroFoil (incompressible-overSimpleFoam) tutorial as starting point. My grid moves OK (I checked the geometry etc with moveDynamicMesh) and the holes are cut as they should. However, when I start overPimpleDyMFoam, I get an error before the first time step: ********************************** Create mesh for time = 0 Selecting dynamicFvMesh dynamicOversetFvMesh Selecting motion solver: multiSolidBodyMotionSolver Applying solid body motion to entire mesh Selecting solid-body motion function oscillatingRotatingMotion Applying solid body motion oscillatingRotatingMotion to 138344 points of cellZone movingZone PIMPLE: Operating solver in PISO mode Reading field p Reading field U Reading/calculating face flux field phi Creating cellMask field to block out hole cells Skipping suppressed overset interpolation for field cellMask Creating interpolatedCells field Skipping suppressed overset interpolation for field interpolatedCells Selecting incompressible transport model Newtonian Selecting turbulence model type RAS Selecting RAS turbulence model kOmegaSST Selecting patchDistMethod Poisson Interpolating non-suppressed field grad(yPsi) Interpolating non-suppressed field grad(yPsi) Interpolating non-suppressed field surfaceIntegrate(((1*magSf)*snGradCorr(yPsi))) [0] dynamicOversetFvMesh::solve() : adjusting matrix for interpolation for field yPsi [6] dynamicOversetFvMesh::solve() : adjusting matrix for interpolation for field yPsi [7] dynamicOversetFvMesh::solve() : adjusting matrix for interpolation for field yPsi [1] dynamicOversetFvMesh::solve() : adjusting matrix for interpolation for field yPsi [2] dynamicOversetFvMesh::solve() : adjusting matrix for interpolation for field yPsi [4] dynamicOversetFvMesh::solve() : adjusting matrix for interpolation for field yPsi [3] dynamicOversetFvMesh::solve() : adjusting matrix for interpolation for field yPsi [5] dynamicOversetFvMesh::solve() : adjusting matrix for interpolation for field yPsi [7] For field yPsi have zero diagonals for 0 cells [4] For field yPsi have zero diagonals for 0 cells [2] For field yPsi have zero diagonals for 0 cells [3] For field yPsi have zero diagonals for 0 cells [0] For field yPsi have zero diagonals for 0 cells [6] For field yPsi have zero diagonals for 0 cells [5] For field yPsi have zero diagonals for 0 cells [1] For field yPsi have zero diagonals for 0 cells [4] dynamicOversetFvMesh::solve() : writing matrix normalisation for field yPsi to yPsi_normalisation [4] [4] [4] --> FOAM FATAL ERROR: [4] Extended addressing not allocated [4] [4] From function const Foam::fvMeshPrimitiveLduAddressing& Foam::dynamicOversetFvMesh:rimitiveLduAddr() const [4] in file dynamicOversetFvMesh/dynamicOversetFvMesh.C at line 584. ********************************* Can anyone shed light on this error? It appears that when I switch to meshWave instead of Poisson for the wallDist calculation (fvSchemes), the problem goes away.
Has anyone come across this during overset calculations? |
