Hi everyone!
I'm new openFOAM user. I'm have a trouble when I use the sclsVOFFoam solver for dambreak case. I'm using openFOAM 2.3.1, as indicate in this tutorial: http://www.tfd.chalmers.se/~hani/kur...ankarMenon.pdf and the changes for dambreak case, according this contribution that I found in github: http://github.com/saatt/01-250SG . But I kept the same geometry of the default openFOAM tutorial. I set up boundary conditions and controldict subdirectories. >> Laminar flow results: The simulation on paraview have shown that the water column starts flow by gravity, collides in the obstacle and after returns to the wall and disappear. >> Turbulence flow results: The simulation on paraview have shown that the water column starts flow by gravity, collides in the obstacle and after decreased and returns, but not desappear. Anyone have already tried run that case sometime? I have been wondering if the clsvof solver maybe would be more appropriate for only diffusive problems.. Any help will be appreaciated |
