k-omega SST model problem

Hi,
I'm new user of an OpenFoam. Actually, I have been working for 5 days on NACA0012 airfoil but I made little improvement about it. I have a question about this topic. My turbulence model has to be incompressible k-omega sst model but my NACA0012 model is just running with SpalartAllMaras .Otherwise , programme is giving error. Which initial/boundary conditions files should I choose ? As I said , Im so amateur now . Maybe its too basic question but i didnt find this answer. If you can help , I would be very grateful. Thanks |

The 0/ directory containing the boundary conditions must include k, omega, and nut files. You can look at the tutorials as to how to setup these files, i.e. typical wall functions, freestream conditions, etc.

You have to find how to set up the k and omega boundary and initial conditions correctly.
Your boundary layer mesh is also important to choose the correct wall functions. There were some good kOmegaSST/OpenFOAM topics in this forum, you have to search and read them also... |
