Hi,
I am wondering if there is a way to reduce the number of files that openFoam generates for a simulation case. As an example, I have a case that generated around 48,000 files! This is problematic on clusters as there is a limit on the number of files one can generate at the allocated space. I would appreciate any assistance. Thanks. |

Have you tried the collated file format?

Dear Gerhard Holzinger,
Much Appreciated! I did not know that this option exists. Thanks for your time. |
