Hello everybody,
as I´m more or less new to CFD and mostimportantly new to OpenFoam, i have a problem, and hope some of you can help me out. What I want to do: I want to setup a case, just like the tutorial "windshieldDefrost" for the chtMultiregionfoam. The problem here is, that in my case it takes ages to solve. So from what I have read, in StarCCM+ there is an option to solve for the steady-state flow, so they have a time-independent averaged velocityfield, which then acts as an input/BC for the transient heattransfer, and used for solving for the convective heat transfer coefficient. i now would like to know how to do that in OpenFoam, but i absolutely don´t know what to search for. Can someone help me out? Cheers, lolo |

Hi my friend,
Did you find the solution to the problem you described? Please let me know if there is a way to solve windshieldDefrost in OF2012 Regards |
